Some java libraries are known to be completely brain-damaged when asked
to authenticate. You will need to figure a way of identifying the broken
ones apps and bypass for the acceptable ones.

javaws may have a user agent string you can detect, but be careful to
add other limits like ones using the safe srcdomain websites or client
IP src ranges to the http_access line.
