Hi list,

I'm having problem running squid-2.6Stable5 + tproxy
on FC6 64bit. Its always appear errors as folow

tproxy ip=202.x.x.x,0x969f5bcb,port=0 ERROR ASSIGN
tproxy ip=202.x.x.x,0x959f5bcb,port=0 ERROR ASSIGN
tproxy ip=202.x.x.x,0x8b9f5bcb,port=0 ERROR ASSIGN
tproxy ip=202.x.x.x,0x969f5bcb,port=0 ERROR ASSIGN

Squid is unable to spoof the ip address of client
since squid is running as squid it self. Seemed to be
successfuly spoof ip address, squid have to be run
with root capability. I try to change
cache_effective_user and cache_effective_group to
root, but squid was crash.

Is there any tricks to run squid with root capability?
any help would be great. Thanks!

regards,
Zul
