Hello squid-users,
I'm up to upgrade my squid box from Debian Woody to Sarge.
squid was built from sources (not Debian package)
> ~squid/sbin/squid -v
Squid Cache: Version 2.5.STABLE12-20060109
configure options: --prefix=/usr/local/squid-2.5.STABLE12-20060109
--enable-dlmalloc --enable-storeio=diskd,ufs,aufs,null --enable-snmp
--with-large-files --disable-hostname-checks --enable-underscores
--enable-basic-auth-helpers=LDAP --with-maxfd=8192
Do you think that squid should restart and run without any problem ?
This is a production server and I'd prefer to build next version
of squid later, without extended service stop.
Your suggestions are welcome.
