Hi,

we use squid 2.5 S6 as a reverse proxy for multiple Webservers.

I configured http_port 80 and https_port 443 (including certificate),

httpd_accel_host virtual and DNS-Server.

HTTP and HTTPS connection works fine (https with popup certification

window).

But now I try to solve this: When a user connects with his browser to

the reverse proxy by using http://www.xyz.xy (or

just www.xyz.xy) I want it to change the address

(in the browser window) to https://www.xyz.xy so

the certification window pops up.

From this point the squid <-> user connection should only be possible =
Via https.
I this possible with squid?

I hope you can help!

Regards,

Markus
