- Just after running '/usr/sbin/squid -D &' I got

> [root@test sbin]# ps -e|grep squid
> 7071 ? 00:00:00 squid
> - Nothing is being logged in
> /val/log/squid/cache.log or
> /val/log/squid/access.log
Problem is /var/log/ and cache directory locations are
not having permission to
cache_effective_user:cache_effective_group.
Try to start squid as,
/usr/sbin/squid -NCd10
What are you getting out there? It will be helpful to
remove errors.
