The latest ip_wccp.c WCCP v1 module linked from the FAQ should work with
2.6.0 I think. It is however only distributed as a separate C file and
you need to manually integrate it into the kernel build process if you are
not comfortable with compiling it manually.

The 2.4.18 patch supplied by Joe Cooper is based on a much older version
of ip_wccp.c and very specific to Linux-2.4.X. This won't work for
Linux-2.6.
