[squid-users] What if I have no permission to write into /usr/local?

Hello, everyone,
 
I am new to Squid. I wish to install Squid on a
machine which I am not
the root user. Also, I have no permission to write
into /usr/local
directory. Is it still possible for me to use Squid?
Is there any way for
me to specify another path for the directories Squid
will use? Thanks a
lot!
