normaly the transparent proxy work together with some firewall (maybe
ipchains) to do the work.

you should put a firewall rule that when you receive a package to connect
"anywhere" in port 80, you could redirect this package to the same server
(the firewall) in the port 3128 (the default to Squid).

be aware that the same firewall machine uses Squid, if you wanna use the
ipchains features (- REDIRECT)
