The Squid LDAP helper (ldap_auth) shipped with Squid-2.4.STABLE2 and later
can easily connect to MS Active Directory, and some examples to get you
going are provided in the accompanying documentation. The documetation is
assuming you know a bit of LDAP and how MS AD maps to LDAP.

If you do not know how to access MS Active Directory as a LDAP service and
how the MS AD LDAP tree is structured and it's access policies then the
documentation might be a bit confusing at first. The helper is after all a
generic LDAP helper, not at all specific to MS AD.
