We looked at using SquidGuard, but it's not possible due to the fact that
SquidGuard uses a database backend which isn't compatible with Domino (SQL
would make it the whole thing too complicated and slow).....

Yet again ladies and gentlemen....... Square One!

Hello,

You can do it using ACL's, not the best solution though (under some
circumstances it will allow the user through)

A better solution would be to use something like SquidGuard.

The user would first have to authenticate using NCSA, then pass
the SquidGuard rules, the beauty of this approach is that you can

1. redirect user to a web page based on which rules he/she didn't
pass.
2. automate alerts to the administrator when rules are breached.
3. rules can be based on time/day/year etc etc
4. can default block all "adult" content

I so something simular to yourself for a number of large corporate's and
it works like a charm
