I really don't mind ... after all I have only change the "uid" with "cn"
from the original source code.
Don't forget to allow "clear text password" in your Ldap server config.
It's SSL by default. Someday I will modify the code to work with SSL (for
Novell at least).
Plus you have to give read access to an anonymous user so it can read the
information (again for Novell).
I'm not sure what you mean by "an example of the dn" but here what i've got
in my squid.conf :
ldap_auth_program /usr/local/squid/bin/group_ldap_auth o=myOrg
myserver.mydomain.qc.ca 389
......
acl group_acl ldap_auth static grp_proxy
.....
http_access allow group_acl
