What do you mean by your problem? Do you mean that squid just stops working? I.e. the PID dies??

  I have Redhat 7.0 Kernel 2.2.16, Squid 2.4 S1 with 192MB, 9GB UW SCSI + 6.4GB IDE drive.

  I am finding that squid stops working properly after a number of hour. Have anyone notice this?

  How can I rectify the problem?
