Hi,
The size of the cache_dir can be set in squid.conf so
that it does not exceed the file size that you set it.
In squid.conf you'll find an entry like the following:
cache_dir 100 256 16
if you change the 100 to another number say 5000 that
will set the amount of maximum cache space!!
