there are two stable criterian for stable in any software project
really...
stable as in it doesn't hang/crash/destroy things...
stable as in major changes are no longer be made to that tree...
I've got 2.4dev4 and 2.4dev2 running... the dev2 hasn't been rebooted in
93 days.
