[SQU] "Too many open files" when starting Squid

Hi,

We have recently started getting this message when starting Squid:

mimeInit: /usr/local/squid/etc/mime.conf: (24) Too many open files

There are 23 ACL files defined in squid.conf, so I assume that mime.conf
is the 24th file that Squid is trying to open. Is there an internal limit
that we are hitting?

We are running Squid 2.3 Stable 4 on Solaris 8.

TIA,

Dave
