[SQU] DNS Look Ups

Hey there,

simple question, not much of importance..
Was just wondering why the DNS lookup goes fine with several of my
customers who run local dns server without setting the squid
cache_dns_program nor dns_nameservers and last time i had to set either
one of them for squid to resolv, while my resolv.conf was pointing the
nameserver to localhost. nslookup and some ther programs did resolve url
fine without setting them up to use nameservers (other than the ones set
up in /etc/resolv.conf).

any ideas on what might have caused it?
