Re: Script Result incomplete

Dear Squiders,

I've recently posted a message about not receiving the result of a
cgi script, acessing through squid (AIX). Even with the great help of
Henrik, we
couldn't get it working.

So, I've downloaded 2.3 STABLE1 and installed in a Red Hat
machine. The access to the script works perfectly. I've done the same
thing (same configure parameters, same .conf) in a AIX box, and the
problem appeared again.

I'd like to know if the GCC compiler version must affect this
somehow. The compilation in AIX shows some warnings but goes to the end.
Should I try installing another version of GCC in AIX? It's interesting
because the access to all other sites work perfectly.

Thanks in advance for any answer.

+ Not besides yelling at the site operator to fix the service to be HTTP
+ compliant.
+
+ But before you do, you should verify that this is indeed a server error:
+
+ Step 1: Identify the failing URL
+
+ Step 2: Make a raw download of the server response for that URL
+ /usr/local/squid/bin/client -h <origin.server.name> -p <port>
+ /path/to/object >response.out
+
+ Step 3: Verify that the response makes sense, and does contain the
+ response you want to analyze and not another error (like 404 not found).
+
+ Step 4: Verify that the response complies to HTTP. If you are unsure how
+ then send me the file and I will do it for you.
+
+
+ Due to limited time and network connectivity I cannot perform steps 1-3.
