Re: squid-2.2STABLE4 problem

 First of all let me thank all of you who helped me to solve my problem.
 
 Basically I did the following to fix the problem:

1. Created a new cache directory and changed the cache_dir parameter in
squid.conf file to

/opt/local/squid/cache1

The old cache directory was /opt/local/squid/cache

2. Ran squid -z command

3. squid -k reconfigure

4. shutdown runcache process

5. squid -k shutdown

6. start squid

I hope it will be helpful for others. I guess I had this problem because I
didn't shutdown squid cleanly bofore increasing the cache_dir.
