RE: Squid on Solaris and Intel

After months of headache and fighting with this thing I discovered today
that the memory leak appears lie somewhere in the driver for the Mylex
controller we use for the RAID array. If there is anyone that is also using
Mylex with Solaris x86_2.6 that can back me up on this theory would you
please let me know.

Sounds like a mem leak to me. Check if your machine is swapping and if so
is it
fixed (temporarely) if squid is killed and restarted? If so you might want
to
try compiling with another malloc (try without dlmalloc first).
