Version numbering has changed to make things less confusing. The upgrade
from 1.1.X is a major step justifying a major version increase.

* A lot of new functionality
* Far better performance
* New format of the disk cache. No straight upgrade path that preserves
the cache (it is possible with a lot of work).
* Many more or less incompatible changes to the configuration file

There is no release version yet. Only a prerelease.
