Squid is not working

Hello, I have install Squid 1.1 and httpd from CERN and apache web
server. When I connect to Internet with apache or httpd squid is not
caching, the cache always is make by the web server. I've read and reread
the FAQ but something is wrong in my squid.conf, Can someone help me?.
