Forward Loop

Hi,

I am constantly getting the following messages in my cache.log

1998/01/29 09:18:10| --> 1.0 proxy.qut.edu.au:3128 (Squid/1.1.20)
1998/01/29 09:18:11| WARNING: Forwarding loop detected for
        'http://209.1.112.251/do_newnf.gif'

Here is the hierachy set up

                        Internet
                       / \
                Proxy1 -------- Proxy2
                 | |
                *** ***

The *** represents possible child proxies and browsers. The
proxy1 and proxy2 and collectively known as proxy.qut.edu.au, this is done
via a round robin algorithm in the DNS.

I have been able to work out that the above request was from a
sibling, and the original request was from a browser (not a child proxy),
the PC the request was made from does not have an entry in the DNS.

There is the scenario, so could some one tell me what is going on, I have
racked my brains, but I can't see any loops.

Thanks,

Dave.
