1.2.b10+1998-01-02 patches and Linux

1.2.b10 with patches dated 1998-01-02 fails on linux with libc-5.3.12
(RedHat 4.2 and others). The cause for this is that libpthreads
(linuxthreads) is detected and linked. linuxthreads does NOT work
together with libc-5.3.12.

Workaround: edit src/Makefile and remove -lpthreads

requirements when using linuxthreads (-lpthreads).

Squid needs -lpthreads when using the ASYNC_IO feature, so if you plan
on testing this new feature then you need to upgrade libc.
