1.1.16 segments on large passwd file

Hi there,

Squid 1.1.16 on Solaris 2.5.1 (sparc version) segment violation on a passwd
file with 981 entries in it. If this number is reduced to (say) 643, no
violations.

Does anyone have an explanation (or dare I say it) even a patch?
