problem with NT proxy

Hi,

in the last time I tried to establish an offline proxy on my linux
2.0.29 system. But I had no success.

My provider has installed WinNT 4.0 with its proxy. So I can come
to the internet only over this WinNT proxy.

With squid I need entries for 'inside_firewall www.provider.de' and
'cache_host www.provider.de parent 80 7', else no connection to the
internet I can get. Without only local sites of my provider I can see.

When I try now to view per netscape a site in the internet with the
help of squid, I only have a small peak of data transfer and after
this nothing happens any more.

Exactly the same I get with wwwoffle and apache 1.2. I tried it
again and again with changing the configuration. But every time the
proxy of WinNT refuses to send more data. It looks like WinNT is
waiting for something after the first packet was sent.

Has anybody an idea, what here is going wrong? Thanks for any help
or advice.
