Sorry for the imprecision ... I'm using Squid 1.1.2 on a DEC Alpha with
8GB swap_cache and 128MB mem_cache...

I had it happen now twice that Squid just dies without leaving any log
entry. Usually this happens during high load (when it hurts most). The
second time I ran Squid with RunCache and modified RunCache so it logs
whenever it restarts Squid. But the second time both, RunCache and Squid
died without leaving any trace. Did anybody else ran into this problem?
