Originally I thought I understood the memory usage of Squid... but after
several posts about it I thoroughly confused myself.
Currently we are running a small squid cache with only 3 users. The
cache_swap at 10 MB and the cache_mem is set at the default of 8 MB. (We are
doing this small step to see how Squid handles maximum boundaries.)
Anyway, will squid take morrre than 8 MB used? If I run top, will squid ever
report more than 8 MB?
Thanks,
cjr
