Ha!
It turned out that hand aplying binary upload patch screws up the Squid.
Patched Squid 1.0.17 eats up request headers even on plain GET
It says
GET .... HTTP/1.0
Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive
User-Agent: Mozilla/3.0.... via Squid Cache version 1.0.17
Pragma: no-cac
Forwarded: by .....
Where CERN proxy says
GET ... HTTP/1.0
Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive
Pragma: no-cache
Host: ....
Accept: ....
User-Agent: Mozilla/3.0.... via CERN/3.0
I have to yet figure what happened with Host and Accept and why Pragma is
screwed up.
So for now you can forget about the upload patch for 1.0.17 until I figure
out what's wrong (unless someone want to help me)
