You need a user called (I think) cache - the password
is the password of this user. You can do most things
without a password tho' - so be careful who
has access to cachemgr and with what machines are
permitted to use cachemgr

Subject: Cachemgr-pw ?
Hi *squid-users*,
what is the default pw for the cachemgr, and how can I change it?
(sorry for asking here, but I got no working answer from the newsgroup)
TIA,
Andreas
