Use of FD_READ_METHOD & FD_WRITE_METHOD instead of write() & read()

Hi,

In some squid sources (logfile.c, net_db.c, store_dir_ufs) there are still
calls to write() and read().

Why not use instead FD_READ_METHOD & FD_WRITE_METHOD ?

In nt and nt-2_5 I have already changed and tested this without problems,
so, if there are no opposition, i can send a patch.
