I'm testing it on an IRIX box, and I seem to be getting a stack
smashing bug.

I'm going to try the diskd code unmodified tomorrow via a polygraph
run or two, but its not squid itself - aufs runs fine. I _think_
(since I didn't tune IRIX's sysv at all) the error handling as it
stands doesn't deal well with resource starvation.
